Patrick Rousseau, President and Co-Founder

Mr. Rousseau graduated in 1995 from Ste-Foy College, majoring in Industrial Design and Administration. He began his Industrial Design career working for a local design firm in Calgary, AB and produced works for companies such as Nortel, Casio, Royal Bank, SMED International, Novatel Wireless, and many others.

Mr. Rousseau joined CSI Wireless in 2000 and was responsible for managing the company's creative direction for product design. He managed the company's Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering team and oversaw the commercialization of over 15 products.

A change of path led him to the founding of BlackLine GPS in 2004 alongside Brendon Cook.

Brendon Cook, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder

Mr. Cook has B.Sc. in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary. For nearly a decade, Brendon worked for Calgary-based CSI Wireless as their Product and Marketing Manager and developed business relationships with organizations including Rockwell Collins, Simrad, Raymarine, ESRI, USDA, and many others.

He managed the company's precision product portfolio and was responsible for the market analysis, generating market direction, defining new products, and assisted with managing the company's product development program.

Listening to his internal entrepreneur, Mr. Cook founded BlackLine GPS alongside Mr. Rousseau in 2004.

Kirk Wankel, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Wankel graduated in 1995 from the University of Calgary with a BComm. in Accounting.  He completed his Chartered Accountant designation while articling with the Auditor General of Alberta and Arthur Andersen.  Mr. Wankel was hired by BW Technologies Inc. in 1999 as the right hand to the CFO and ultimately took over that responsibility upon the CFO's retirement.  In 2006, Mr. Wankel took his experience as a growth oriented executive to a junior oil and gas company but poor drilling results combined with a decline in natural gas prices left the company with minimal future potential.  As such, Mr. Wankel returned to his roots by joining the high-tech growth story that is BlackLine.

Neil Campbell, Vice President Sales

Neil Campbell has a business degree from the University of Alberta with a major in marketing. He spent 8 years in commercial finance with the Toronto Dominion Bank and was their regional high tech and communications specialist. He then joined and spent 18 years with BW Technologies in a variety of roles; the last 15 years were spent developing sales for the company.

For the past 12 years Mr. Campbell started and lead BW’s International Division, building sales and distribution around the world.  Using his background in marketing and finance, BW grew to work with over 150 regional or national companies selling it products through-out Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and Latin America.

Barry Moore, Vice President Product Development

Barry Moore is an industrial designer and senior product development leader with 20 years of design and management experience. During his most recent tenure as Vice President of Product Development for BW Technologies the company experienced phenomenal growth backed by innovative and relentless product development.  Barry and his cross functional team of designers, engineers and technicians have been responsible for bringing dozens of products to market and garnering national design awards for their efforts. His strength as a leader and innovator has been proven through the many successful product realizations and the bottom line fiscal success that they have generated.
