Slater to take role of CEO for Blackline

Calgary, AB – December 15, 2010. Effective January 10th, 2011, Blackline GPS Corp. (TSXV: BLN) is pleased to announce that Mr. Cody Slater will become the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of the Company. Mr. Slater will continue in his role as Chairman of the Board for Blackline GPS Corp. ("Blackline" or "Company"). Mr. Slater was renowned for his role as the founder and CEO of BW Technologies ("BWT"). BWT rose to prominence after listing on the Alberta Stock Exchange in 1997 at $2 per share and was acquired in 2004 by UK-based First Technologies for $36 per share. When Honeywell acquired BW Technologies in 2006 it was part of an all-cash transaction valued at $555,000,000.

"It is clear that the real future of the Company lies in the industrial and commercial markets. Each lone worker client we add makes Blackline look more and more like a young BW," said Mr. Slater. "This market covers any worker in any industry that is likely to be alone for an hour or more at a time. Like the gas detection market years ago, the legislation in this area is just beginning. Already Blackline has sales to a diverse group of clients: municipalities, delivery & transport companies, and even to dental lab workers for protection as they work alone in the evening," says Mr. Slater. "I see a real opportunity for Blackline to develop into the leader in this worker safety market and I feel that it is time for me to take a more active role."

Mr. Clark Swanson has been responsible for much of the success that Blackline has had in penetrating the lone worker marketplace and will continue in his role as President of Blackline. With Mr. Slater as CEO, Mr. Swanson will be able to more fully focus on expanding the sales and marketing capabilities of the company and build on its current commercial success with companies such as Enmax, Alta Utilities, Waste Management and Ryder Transportation.

By focusing Blackline's efforts on the management team's established expertise in manufacturing for the industrial safety marketplace, Blackline will be able to secure higher profit margins, lower set-up costs, and reap the rewards of immediate and long-term service contracts.

Ms. Paula Kaner has tendered her resignation as the Company's Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") effective January 20th, 2011. "We would like to thank Ms. Kaner for her contribution and service to Blackline as the Company's CFO and we wish her well in her future endeavours." says Cody Slater, Chairman of Blackline. The company is pleased to announce Mr. Peter Dorrius will take on the role of interim Chief Financial Officer for Blackline on January 21, 2011. Mr. Dorrius is a Chartered Accountant and has served as the Company's Controller since July, 2010.
