Blackline GPS Appoints Peter Dorrius as CFO and Bob Herdman to Board of Directors
April 11, 2011 Calgary, Alberta - Blackline GPS Corp. (TSXV: BLN) has appointed Bob Herdman to its board of directors effective April 5, 2011. Herdman, FCA, was formerly a senior audit partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Blackline GPS has granted Herdman 350,000 stock options to acquire up to 350,000 common shares. The options, vested immediately, have an exercise price of $0.23 and expire April 5, 2016.
Blackline GPS also announced that Peter Dorrius, its interim CFO, has been appointed full time CFO, effective April 1, 2011. As part of his compensation package, Dorrius has been granted 350,000 stock options to acquire up to 350,000 common shares.
Dorrius assumed the interim CFO position on January 21, 2011 when Paula Kaner, Blackline GPS’ former CFO, resigned from company effective January 20, 2011. Dorrius, CA, had served as Controller since July 2010.
Blackline GPS has also granted Greg Rude 350,000 stock options in connection with his appointment as Vice President of Industrial Sales on March 1, 2011.
The Rude and Dorrius options have an exercise price of $0.22 and expire March 30, 2016. The options vest in equal tranches every 6 months for the next 3 years.
