Blackline GPS selected to provide the official tracking services for the Love Ride 2010, led by Grand Marshall Jay Leno and Love Ride founder Oliver Shokouh
Calgary, AB – October 21, 2010. Blackline GPS
Corp. and the Love Ride are pleased to announce that Blackline
GPS has been selected to provide the official real time tracking
for the Love Ride 2010. The Love Ride takes place November 7th,
beginning from Glendale Harley-Davidson and goes to Calamigos
Ranch in Malibu Hills, the site of the original Love Ride in
1984. The goal of the Love Ride is to raise money for charitable
causes, and this year will benefit Autism Speaks.
Oliver Shokouh, founder of the Love Ride said, "Over the years,
the Love Ride became the largest motorcycle charity ride in the
world and has raised millions of dollars for a variety of
charities. To share the event with media, fans and people around
the world, we wanted a way to track our entourage of riders and
share their location with people around the world in real time
as the ride progresses. The Escort Entourage provides the
perfect solution and allows everyone a fun and simple way to
follow along virtually".
Jay Leno, well known for being host of the Tonight Show, will be
the Grand Marshal for the event. Mr. Leno has served as the
Grand Marshal for every ride since 1985. The Love Ride has been
billed as "The Largest One-Day Motorcycle Fund-Raising Event in
the World." Other notables taking part include actors Peter
Fonda and Robert Patrick as well as Harley-Davidson's Willie G.
Davidson.

ourselves for being good stewards of community service. The
Blackline platform will be a unique focal point for news media
and charity sponsors to observe the Love Ride as hundreds of
Harley Davidson riders ride to support Autism Speaks," said
